Hi! My name is Melissa Vaeth and I am a photographer, wife, mother, dog-lover, concert-goer, and outdoor enthusiast. I love photographing the people I meet and the things they do. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and then moved (along with my high school sweetheart, Matt) to pursue my bachelor’s degree in fine art photography from the University of Colorado at Denver. During that time, I began shooting weddings for a local studio and was also the photography editor for the university newspaper. Soon after I graduated Matt and I moved back to our hometown, got married and started our family, which now consists of our 4 year old son, AJ and our two dogs Shady & Pisces. In 2007 I started Vaeth Photography and in 2009 Matt joined me in the business, which makes it even better. Life is good!
